Noel or Nee Noel...
Ochhhhh! Hi pop fans. I've been thinking for a while how I could make some sort of contribution to this site to give it more of a "high-brow" feel. I've been on the phone to my agent, the Banker and my old chum The Hairy Cornflake and they talked me into submitting a regular (here's hoping) in-depth interview with various high profile characters. My agent (a Shields lad) suggested the winning title of "Noel or Nee Noel"! Watch this space for an absolute corker of an exclusive kids, but to kick off I've roped in my old mate Keith "Cheggers" Chegwin, who I phoned up for a chat while having a spot of lunch at Crinkly Bottom.
Noel: Hi Cheggers me old chum, long time no see. Let's get serious and down to the nitty gritty. During our days on Swap Shop you famously infuriated millions of North Easterners when you mispronounced "Chester le St. (Street)" as "Chester le SAINT"! What were you thinking man?
Cheggers: Wahey! The truth is Noel, I've never really been 'oop north' apart from a visit to Shields back in the 70s, when I went "down saint" as the locals say...
Noel: Occhhhhh! Don't you mean "down street"? My agent's a Shields lad and he's "down street" all the time...
Cheggers: Whatever...anyway I visited King Saint, All Street's Church, Street Hilda's....I bought a lovely Street Christopher from a jewellers in Fowler Saint...
Noel: Occhhhhh! Moving on, what have you been watching on telly lately...
Cheggers: I'm a huge Coronation Saint fan, Sesame Saint...that's good. I used to love Roger Moore as 'The Street'...I love my football, being a great follower of Scottish giants Street Mirren and of course Southampton FC "The Streets" and I never miss an episode of that pair Street and Greavsie...
Noel: Occhhhhh! What are you listening to at the mo...
Cheggers: I'm really liking those lovely ladies from All Streets, the Manic Saint Preachers, The Saints. My favourite all time songs are 'Where the saints have no name' by U2 and the old time tradition Louis Armstrong classic "When the streets go marching in"...
Noel: Occhhhhh! I see a pattern emerging here you old wag! What's next on the cards for Cheggers?
Cheggers: I'm moving into the theatre darling, in Street Albans - I'm appearing in Tennessee Williams 'A saintcar named desire', playing the part of Stanley, a flawed character, I mean he's no street...
Noel: Click brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

Nice interview Noel and good format. I like your idea of a regular feature and am pleased to read that you have at least one high-profile interview lined up.
